The Formation Co – Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

1. Purpose

 

This policy outlines The Formation Co.’s terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and service adjustments after a client purchases a business formation package. Our goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and professionalism in all client transactions.

 

2. Order Confirmation

 

Once a payment is processed and a formation package is purchased, The Formation Co immediately begins preparing business documents, filings, and customized deliverables. Because these services involve administrative fees and time-sensitive filings, certain portions of the fee become non-refundable once work begins.

 

3. Cancellations

•    Before Work Begins:

Clients may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase if no filing or document preparation has started.

In this case, a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee will be issued.

•    After Work Has Begun:

Once business name searches, EIN applications, or filing preparation has started, cancellations are no longer eligible for a full refund.

Partial refunds may be issued at The Formation Co’s discretion, depending on the stage of completion.

•    State Filing Fees and Third-Party Costs:

Any government filing fees, registered agent fees, or third-party service costs already paid on your behalf are non-refundable under any circumstance.

 

4. Refunds

•    Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@theformationco360.com within 24 hours of purchase.

•    Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

•    No refunds will be issued for completed filings, digital products, or downloadable templates.

 

5. Service Changes or Credits

 

If you wish to change to a different package or postpone services, The Formation Co may, at its discretion, offer a service credit to be used toward future business formation or branding services within 90 days of the original purchase.

 

6. Errors and Corrections

 

If The Formation Co makes an administrative or clerical error (e.g., incorrect filing name or document typo), we will correct the error at no additional cost to the client.
